Pros:
The Lasko #2554 42-Inch Wind Curve Fan has a tall, sleek tower design which keeps the footprint of the unit small yet still provides excellent air distribution. The wood grain front adds a real sense of style to the unit.
The user-friendly controls located at the top of the unit give you three speed settings plus an electronic timer which can be set from 0.5-7.5 hours, allowing you to set the fan to turn off while you are asleep. A full-featured remote control is included so you can operate all the functions from the comfort of your chair.
The oscillation feature swivels the fan smoothly for great air distribution. This feature can be turned on or off depending on your needs. There is also a built-in Ionizer which cleans the air to filter dust and pollen for a fresher room.
Cons:
The quality of the remote control leaves a lot to be desired. The remote has to be in direct line of sight of the sensor to operate and can sometimes require several button presses to register a command.
